Georg Papperitz was a German painter associated with the Munich School in the late nineteenth century. He trained at the Munich Academy and worked principally in portraiture and figure painting, exhibiting in Munich and other German art centers during a period when the city was a leading hub for academic and naturalist painting in Central Europe.
