The Stag Tavern

Malcolm Drummond — British, 1880–1945 — Camden Town Group

Malcolm Drummond was an English painter associated with the Camden Town Group and later the London Group, both founded in the years before the First World War. A pupil of Walter Sickert at the Westminster School of Art, he absorbed Sickert's interest in unglamorous urban subject matter—church interiors, suburban streets, working figures, and quiet domestic scenes.
