Colin Campbell Cooper — American, 1856–1937 — American Impressionism
Colin Campbell Cooper was an American Impressionist best known for his architectural cityscapes, particularly his renderings of New York skyscrapers in the early twentieth century. Born in Philadelphia, he studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts under Thomas Eakins and later in Paris at the Académies Julian, Vitti, and Delécluse.
