Viky (Also Known As Cubist Head) Otto Gutfreund
Otto Gutfreund — Czech, 1889–1927 — Czech Cubism
Otto Gutfreund was among the first sculptors anywhere to translate Cubist principles into three dimensions, and his early works remain central to the history of modern sculpture in Central Europe. Trained in Prague and later in Paris under Antoine Bourdelle, he absorbed both the structural rigor of French modernism and the intellectual currents of the Czech avant-garde.
