Quarry Daniel Garber
Daniel Garber — American, 1880–1958 — Pennsylvania Impressionism
Daniel Garber was a central figure of the New Hope school, the Bucks County colony of American Impressionists who painted the landscape of the Delaware River Valley in the early twentieth century. Trained at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, where he later taught for over four decades, Garber developed a distinctive technique built on a fine, tapestry-like stroke and a high-keyed palette tempered by silvery tonal harmonies.
