Rene Bull — Irish, 1872–1942 — Golden Age Illustration
Rene Bull was an Irish-born illustrator and photographer who worked primarily in London during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Trained in Paris under Caran d'Ache, he began his career as a war correspondent and illustrator for Black and White and the Illustrated London News, covering conflicts in Sudan, Greece, and India.
