Abbott Fuller Graves was an American Impressionist best known for his sun-drenched garden paintings and floral still lifes. Born in Weymouth, Massachusetts, he trained in Boston before traveling to Paris, where he studied with Fernand Cormon and absorbed the plein-air practice that would define his mature work.
