Olga Rozanova was among the most inventive figures of the Russian avant-garde, working in Moscow and St. Petersburg during the brief, intense period between 1910 and her early death in 1918. She moved through Neo-Primitivism, Cubo-Futurism, and Suprematism, exhibiting with the Union of Youth and later joining Malevich's Supremus group.
