Guillaume Seignac — French, 1870–1924 — French Academic
Guillaume Seignac was a French academic painter who studied at the Académie Julian in Paris under William-Adolphe Bouguereau, Tony Robert-Fleury, and Gabriel Ferrier, and whose work carries the polished surface and idealized figuration associated with that lineage. He exhibited regularly at the Salon des Artistes Français from the 1890s into the early twentieth century, where he received recognition for his refined technique.
