Clark Hulings — American, 1922–2011 — American Realism

Clark Hulings was an American realist painter known for sun-drenched scenes of rural life, market days, and working animals observed in Mexico, Spain, and the American Southwest. Trained in physics before turning fully to art, he studied at the Art Students League in New York and worked for years as a commercial illustrator before establishing himself as a fine artist in the 1960s.
